Lactic Acid Saverio Fattori (Gaff publisher) is the story of Claudio Seregni, a distance runner who, as "advanced athlete," the ambition to participate in the Beijing Olympics. But will always Seregni Claudio, a promise of youth categories as there are many, driven by the horrible urge to emerge from mediocrity. Among coaches, managers, unscrupulous doctors and New Age guru, he falls into the vortex of EPO and steroids. Obsessive workouts between abandoned warehouses, the misery of human relations in the name of a sport on the margins of drug addiction, desperate and lonely lives of the athletes are the hallmark of a very dark novel and instructive.
