We spent the morning walking through the bush looking magical trees, streams and
encounter with a deer watching us curiously from behind a tree. Unfortunately I have not had time to photograph it! Then could not miss a walk on the lake. The weather was not the best and the lake at times seemed gray and then gold as the sun peeked through the clouds.

We stopped at ' Oak Tree Inn .
I had heard a lot about this restaurant and bed and breakfast through the various guides I consulted, and search the web. And already, in fact we chose to stop at precisely the Balmaha Oak Tree Inn!
The restaurant is built next to an oak tree of 500 years and is run by Sandy and Lucy Fraser.
You can eat the best of traditional Scottish dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients. In addition there is a special feature: the 'Char Atlantic. This is a fish of the salmon family, but also has the attributes of the trout. It 'a fish that is salt water to fresh water. It is found in cold, deep lakes of Scotland, but also in Scandinavia and Siberia.

Obviously we could not choose our menu! Here it is in all its beauty!
Atlantic Char was tender and delicate, accompanied by fresh vegetables and cooked with simplicity and without sauces that would prevent the "capture" its flavor and freshness.
And for dessert my favorite British dessert: the Banoffe Pie, skillfully prepared by Mrs. Fraser.
The service was quick and the waiters very kind.
We ate in a wood-paneled room with an old elm, a beautiful fireplace in the center.
I felt like going back in winter, even when there is the snow and the landscape changes completely, and spend a few relaxing days in front of the fireplace.
